Target Release Date: 2025-12-02
New runtime version available for Kubernetes Runtimes.
We are still working out the details of this release, which will be posted in our Runtime Releases category.
Some of the new features will only become fully available when the next Modeler Release is available: this is our current release policy, first release Runtimes with the built-in support for new features, then release the Modeler to make the feature fully available. The Modeler Release to provide full support for the new features is scheduled for 2026-01-06.
The upcoming release is expected to have following improvements:
- Widget Script will ignore navigate to @NavigationItem when @NavigationItem is undefined.
- FromUnixTimestamp function will support dates after 2038.
- Fixed navigation item access using NavigateTo and Clear Session nodes.
- Fixed issue when trying to store an empty temporary file.
- Fixed issue with WEM Debugger and breakpoints.
- Improved LetsEncrypt certificate request process.
- Fixed issue with fetching status of non-existing async task.
- Multiple improvements in Runtime API used by WEM DevOps Portal.
And following new features (to be completed when Modeler is released):
- Numeric Input Fields can support min, max and step, following general features as described here.
- Autocompletion using Browser data is added to Date, Duration and Number input fields.
- Entity Reference Input fields can be displayed as a Combobox (support typing and selecting in one field).
- Nested Lists can now be opted to be queried over ALL rows, in addition to the "limited to parent row" (which is the current default situation). This makes using Nested Lists a lot easier. The option to either limit to parent (default) or to use all rows, will be added to Datagrid and Repeater UI components, Data Export nodes, Loop and List nodes.
- Image UI component gets additional properties to set Title and Alt attributes (to support accessibility requirements - more will follow).
- Data Export node will support skip and take for paging support
- order by can be used in expressions
- Labels that contain an entity reference can apply the default label expression (if provided).
